Chapter 46: Unexpected Encounter

Lily raised an eyebrow, laughing softly. "I'm sure you'd save the day, my lord."

Though she said it as a jest, her words soon came true.

The bandit captain, realizing he was outmatched, began chanting while ordering his men to hold off the knights.

The number of screams rose swiftly, only to die down just as quickly.

"O, spirit of the earth so grand, Rising from the depths, by ancient hand. Rock and soil, your essence true, I call upon your power to renew!"

Beside the bald-headed bandit, an orange magic circle appeared, summoning a massive boar made of rock and dirt, towering over the knights.

"A spirit!" shouted a knight in our escort group, clearly unprepared for the bandit leader to be a summoner.

But the captain didn't stop there; he summoned five rock golems as well.
