Chapter 284: Taking it back (2)

Aurora felt relieved when she spotted Vincent exiting the blazing house with Regina in his hands. "Why did the two of you take so long to leave? I was just about to run in to get the two of you."

"It was my fault. I did not want to leave my family. I was trying to convince them to leave with me. Thank you," Regina thanked Vincent for safely getting her out of the house. "I have a bad feeling about leaving them behind but there is nothing more I can do."

"You tried your best. Do not blame yourself for whatever happens to them. Hopefully, they have all made it out," Aurora said to cheer Regina up but she was almost certain they wouldn't make it out. 

Chaos was having the time of his life setting the house on fire. It was evident by how loudly he was laughing as he did it. This was most likely the most exciting thing he got to do since the Goddess disappeared.
