"I wonder if Minnie is grilling Samuel right now. Serves him right for getting on my nerves."
Regina didn't feel bad for exposing Samuel's plans to Minnie. Unlike her, everyone would forgive Samuel easily while it would take a decade for them to forgive her for helping Aurora.
All eyes were on their family for the moment Samuel would inherit a great deal of business and choose a wife to carry on the Hamilton name. Minnie couldn't punish Samuel forever. However, she could fool him and make him know what it's like to lose everything.
Samuel wasn't smart enough to grasp how much Minnie needed him. As the only son in the family, they needed him to bring in a rich wife to expand their wealth.
It wouldn't be smart to depend on Regina's husband as she would tell the man to never help her family.
"If I were in Samuel's position I would be making a whole lot of demands. He's the one who should have been in a rush to marry," said Regina.
