Graham enjoyed the lack of a heartbeat from Vincent. "I had to patiently wait for your father to meet his end for me to become the alpha and then you showed up. It's your fault you know. I knew when you were younger you would be trouble so I never liked you. I was right not to in the end."

"Your grandfather used to tell your father how great it is to be the leader. He made it sound so sweet how could I not want it? He had always liked your father more than me. I was the outcast in the family but don't get me wrong, I have always loved my brother and vice versa. He was kind but he had what I wanted."

Graham listened outside the door to ensure no one was eavesdropping on him. When there wasn't anyone there he went to sit on the bed. He patted Vincent's hand and said, "Sleep well. I will take care of everything here. I will take care of the girl who owes me the debt, all your loyal people, the humans, and the girl you brought here. I will kill all of them."
