"Why are they drawing on her face?" Tara asked, watching the women she did not know draw on the princess's face. She didn't understand why they were able to draw on someone's face but she was scolded when she tried to draw a flower on Abigail's.
"It is to let everyone know she is the bride. It is like a wedding dress for us," Jane answered. She stood on the sidelines with Abigail who didn't want to leave her side. She was worried about how the women in the room would be with her children but they were surprisingly kind.
Jane couldn't place if they were being kind because they now had a different view from Vincent not marrying a werewolf or they were just pretending to be kind in front of Aurora. Some women could tell it was the latter but others confused her. Still, she was happy she didn't need to take the children home when they were enjoying the wedding.
"One day when it is your time to be married your face will be painted too," said Aurora.
