Chapter 241: REFLECTED SPIRIT - PART 3

When Christopher returned from the stables, he rushed immediately to Lord Alexsander's room. He was still feeling strange about Rose's unusual behavior. He pondered if it had something to do with the mirage or Kane and him being in her head. 

His boots clomped down the hall until he reached Kane's door. He raised his hand and rapped the door three times loudly. 

"It's open," He heard Kane yell out. 

Christopher entered the guest room to find his brother rolling a blanket, stowing his gear, and getting ready to return to Northbrook. He saw Kane's aqua-blue eyes look up, and Rose was right. There was a new glimmer of happiness in them. 

Lord Alexsander was placing his belongings by the door when he asked, "Is everything okay now? Did you take care of Rose?"
