"I don't know..." Jeff thought for a moment, then looked up and asked Tommy's backside, "So, should I play dead too?"

Tommy didn't respond. He saw Gina going back to the bedroom with the manuscript. That girl was bold and unrestrained—not only did she change clothes without closing the curtains or windows, but even though she clearly saw Tommy sitting on the tree ladder, she deliberately faced towards him while changing. "What were you saying just now, Jeff?" Tommy finally regained his senses from the blinding visual effects and looked down at Jeff to ask.

"I mean, do I really have to play dead too?" Jeff, having not noticed why Tommy had been distracted, obediently repeated his question.
