Blood,Moon and Stars

*BANG*
In that moment,I felt fear running through my veins as danger slowly comes closer. All I could do was stand frozen still as I witnessed my father's lifeless body collapse to the ground.
*----
I was there,looking outside the window of the Vance Residence,A family of nobles whom my father serves for as a security personnel. The moon was blooming bright and the sky was full of beautiful stars. It was a night of beauty and so of Blood. As I glazed into the night sky,I noticed shadows which were fastly approaching the mansion. To my shock,I knew they were intruders as the alarms went off as soon as I saw them. I quickly ran to my father's quarters. On my way,I bumped into Mr. and Mrs. Vance,who were still in their pajamas and obviously woke up because of the alarms. They were both terrified and,in a panic, ordered me to find their son, Harley. I just shook down my head. I didn't know what to do. Harley is important to me but my father is more important than Harley. Then all of a sudden..... gunshots were heard outside the mansion. I shifted my attention outside and saw my father shooting at the assailants along with other guards. The Assailants were feirce and accurate of their aim that more than half of the guards were dead before they knew what was coming. Without a second thought,I continued running to my father's quarters. I kicked the door open and grabbed the black sniper rifle,which was his favorite. I was begging he'd be alive until I return to help them,only to find him lying on the ground,dead.
I froze. The only family I had left is now dead. I was standing still as tears rolled down my eyes. But,I realized something. My Father was a determined man. A dedicated person who lived until his mission was complete. I admired him and wanted to be like him. Even though he knew he might die, he continued fighting on.
I gritted my teeth,Readied myself with rifle.
The only way to living is to continue fighting on!
With that,I shot my first kill. I reloaded then fired again. The Assailants were desperately trying to find my location. I took advantage of that and killed half of their men. Every trigger,A tear rolls down my cheek. Every trigger,a memory of me and father replays in my mind.
I won't forgive you until I kill ever last one of you. That is my determination!
I continued firing until there were only 4 remaining. I reloaded and readied myself again. I was about to fire when they noticed me and shot aggressively. I dodged but my shoulder and my left eye was badly injured. I ran to another place without letting them notice and continued firing at them. At last,I killed all of them.

I walked while leaning against the corridor. My injuries were severe and supposedly needed medical attention. I turned right and saw Harley, sitting quietly while studying his Magic.
"Harley!"
"Hm?" he looked at me. He was surprised to see me in that state.
"Where have you been? Have you seen your parents?Are you hurt?" I asked while looking for possible injuries. He was fine. I hugged him,I was so relieved he was okay.
"I'm phine!" he said while trying to get out of my hug.
"Oh sorry. haha" 😊
Harley just pouted then he treated my injuries using his magic.
"I'm not good at healing magic but this will have to do."
"It's alright" I said.
We both stood up and walked to find Harley's Parents.
"By the way, how's your father? Knowing him,he would survive that gunfight"
I stayed silent and shooked my head.
Harley knew what happened and just continued walking.
"I'm sorry."he said
"No,It's okay. My father died protecting someone so for me, it was worth it."
"..." Harley just looked at me.
"what?"
"You know what? I don't have a big sister to look after me and you don't have anyone to look after you now that your father passed away. S-so you're welcome to the family if you want." he said looking away, blushing.
I looked at Harley. He may be kind of a troublemaker but he actually has a kind heart.
"Alright,I'll be you big sister from now on. So,You'll have to obey me,okay?"
"what?!!! no fair!" he crossed his arms
I just laughed and continued walking until we saw his parents, waving their arms to us.
We arrived inside the Mansion which was free from the gunshots outiside. Harley's parents hugged us both so tightly.
"We were so worried" said Mrs.Vance.
"It's okay ,we're okay" said Harley.
"Thank God. Lesley" she turned to me. "I'm sorry for what happened to your father but don't you worry,We'll be here to take care of you." she said in a comfronting voice.
"See,I told you you'll become my sister no matter what."
I giggled. I may have lost an important person in my life but there can be people who will be important to me as long as i live on.
