The Amber Kingdom's rapid expansion had not gone unnoticed. Far to the south, the Solar Dominion, an ancient empire of immense wealth and power, viewed Lyrus' actions with suspicion. To the north, the Frosthold Federation, a coalition of fiercely independent kingdoms, debated whether to ally with or oppose this rising force. Meanwhile, the Aetherian Concord, a realm ruled by powerful mages, saw Lyrus as a potential threat to their dominance.
Spies and envoys began to appear near the borders of the Amber Kingdom. Lucidus, ever vigilant, intercepted their movements and presented his findings to Lyrus.
"Master," Lucidus said, "the empires are watching. Some may seek alliances, but others will undoubtedly challenge us. What shall we do?"
Lyrus leaned back in his chair, his expression calm but resolute. "Let them come. If they seek friendship, we will welcome them. If they seek control, they will learn the strength of the Amber Kingdom."
