This has got to be one of my top three favorite book series, and when I saw the reviews, I felt like they weren't doing it justice. This made me want to write one. Firstly, this is much more wholesome than you would expect, considering that manga and light novels sexualize things more than your average novel. However, it still seems completely satisfying in terms of romance, with the occasional casual banter and the situations that leave you smiling. On another note, I find a decent amount of the characters to be quite relatable and likable. Such as the main character, Masachika, who is your average otaku but with a "hint" of intelligence hidden behind his casual demeanor. Another example is the female MC, Alya. She displays extreme perseverance, not wanting to solely rely on her intelligence gifted at birth, and is the kind of person that you want to root for. The last thing I want to say is that the events happening in the series are always keeping you on your toes, wondering what will happen next. This might be just me, but the mind games and politics that occur within the student council election always keep me wanting more. To anyone reading, I sincerely hope you found this review helpful and support the author, who always comes out with great afterwords and short stories!
