"I'm done with it", Any's angry voice brought me back to reality.

"What happened", I asked startled.

"What happened is that I'm fed up with you acting so strange", I know what she is talking about but I didn't show her.

"I am acting strange?", I asked her instead, with the most innocent and confusing look I can muster.

"yes, you are. You keep zoning out since last few days", she narrowed her eyes at me like she is trying to find any clue about what's going on in my mind.

"I'm just thinking about where Carl would be", I lied to her. Carl hadn't been on my mind at all. Ever since we have been back from our trip I can't show off the feeling of being watched.

Wherever I go I keep feeling like someone is watching me, lurking in the shadows, ready to pounce on me as a predator does to its prey and it's making me paranoid, plus the feeling I'm getting that something really bad is going to happen doesn't help my case at all.
