I checked the bag again to see if I have packed everything I will need. "We'll be late if you keep checking bags every five minutes", Dalton's voice ring in my ear. Startled I let out a squeal before turning around.

"I just wanted to ensure that we have everything we will need", I shrugged nonchalantly to hide my embarrassment. I didn't want him to know how excited I'm for our second honeymoon. The first one went down the hill all because of me so I wanted to enjoy this one as much as possible.

I had planned this honeymoon for his birthday. I had booked the plane tickets for three days after his birthday. We were not going to go as I hadn't told Dalton about it as it was not the time for us to go enjoy ourselves when his mother is in the hospital but Amy opened her mouth to ask if I'm still going to go or not in front of everyone.

Mom and Dalton's dad forced us to go and enjoy ourselves. Even Brenda wanted us to go. Mom asserted to me that she'll take care of Brenda.
