Clawl jumped high up making a graceful arc in the air before landing firmly beside me.

He looked so lovely and tender beside me. I couldn’t help but raise my hand and lean towards him.

I proceeded to touch soft light blue head and even patted him for a job well done. I knew he enjoyed it when I did that.

After a while, I moved my mouth close to his ear and whispered a few good words to him.

He looked up at me and bowed his head. Then he proceeds into the dark forest.

Looking at his retreating figure, I felt a surge of happiness in my heart, especially when I turned to the other side and saw Beth miserably lying beside her injured mate.

I was not in a hurry to say anything. I just stared at the couple with happiness in my heart, Beth looked like a mess, while Aaron had a lot of wounds on his body.

They looked up at me with raw hatred and alarm in their eyes, just like the way they did that day.
