Ted turned to her, looking a bit puzzled. Gloria got up and said to him, "Mr. Maguire, you are a rare visitor here. Please have a meal before leaving."

"Ha, you haven't recovered yet. Maybe some other time. Your aunt is still waiting for me at home. I told her that I'll be home tonight for dinner. You two can go to my place whenever you are free."

Nydia smiled and replied, "Sure thing. We won't keep you longer. We should get together sometime."

Ted touched her head fondly. "Nydia, learn from Gloria. Don't waste your time for nothing."

"I'm really hard-working now!" Nydia said in a proud voice while raising her arm to flex her muscles. "Look at my arm. I'm Gloria's bodyguard and nanny!"

Ted couldn't help breaking out into laughter and shook his head with resignation. "Way to go! I'm hitting the road. You two go to bed early."

"OK. Mr. Maguire, drive safe."

Ted didn't say anything and left.
