Nina's POV
The sea snake became manic. It kept hitting the surface of the sea, setting off tidal waves. The cold water droplets wet my clothes.
Its severed tail had grown up again. It emerged from the whirlpool of the deep and whipped the cliff with its stout tail. The ground was shaking more and more violently, and great stones kept tumbling down into the sea. The cliff was on the verge of breaking off and sinking into the deep sea.
The sea snake swept toward the church with its tail, breaking the remaining half of the church's ceiling. The colorful glass was scattered all over the floor, and the wind blew those shards of glass in my direction. Henry narrowed his eyes and held me in his arms, shielding me from the pieces. He turned around, glared at the sea snake, and thundered in a high voice, "Can't you wait?"
