Chapter 46: The White Wolf’s Rage

Safira felt a fuzzy warmth in her heart. It was Nymeria, doing what she could to comfort her. She felt as if she could feel the soft fur of her wolf against her own skin. Not only did it provide warmth, but it also made her feel secure.

"Safira, would you like to go for a hunt?" Archer's voice took Safira right out of her thoughts.

Her personal guard, who silently watched over her. He had always done his best to be as invisible as possible so that Safira did not feel like she was being watched all the time.

"That's a great idea, how about a hunt, Safy?" Moraina added.

Together, the three wolves shifted and began racing through the forest. But they didn't get far when a sense of dread stopped Safira in her tracks. Her blood ran cold as she caught onto a familiar scent. Fear gripped her.

But soon, it was replaced with another emotion. Anger.

'It's him,' Nymeria growled. Her voice was filled with anguish and rage.

Safira resonated with it.
