Chapter 112: One Mind One Heart

A servant wolf brought in a fresh pot of coffee for them along with a small plate of snacks. After setting them down the servant wolf bowed respectfully before leaving.

As soon as the door closed, the conversation continued.

"The council is curious to know if our Alpha would be participating in the Supreme Alpha Ascension," Rosalie explained as she took a sip of coffee before adding a dash of milk.

Safira leaned back in her seat. She was half expecting this question from the elder she-wolf. Everyone wanted to know what was on Damien's mind. Including her. The invitation was for attendance. During the event, Alpha wolves would be asked to step forward should they wish to attempt the ascension and become a Supreme Alpha.

For Safira and Damien, however, there was another more personal reason for them to participate. Moon Goddess Selene's words echoed in her mind. '…If Damien succeeds in his ascension, I will return both of your wolves.'
