Chapter 100: Lotus Hunting

Safira could smell the faint scent of herbs coming from the package.

"I know herbs are hard to come by, so I thought it would be good for you to have some on your person," Celine explained with a smile.

Safira was surprised by the female Alpha's kindness. They barely knew each other and moments ago, Safira barged in on their meeting.

"Are you sure?" She asked the female Alpha, not wanting to take away something so valuable.

Celine chuckled, "I'm sure of it. I have a hunch Alpha Damien didn't send you to attend this meeting on his behalf because he had some other matters to attend to."

She leaned in close to Safira's ear and whispered, "This should help you buy some time too."

With that, the female Alpha disappeared into the shadow of the woods. With the herbs in hand, Safira and Seth headed back to Obsidian Howl. There was not a moment to waste.
