Chapter 22: Foot In The Door

Damien explained that it was a place for werewolves to learn skills and hone their wolf abilities. It was a great place for any werewolf to get to know themselves better.

When he became Alpha of Obsidian Howl, he made it compulsory for all pack wolves to attend it. As such, Diana was no exception.

"It's more boring than my brother's putting it, trust me," Diana said to Safira.

"Did you pack not have anything of this sort?" she continued to ask.

Safira shook her head. If there was, she never knew about it. The wolves of Nightmoon pack were a mostly traditional bunch. They detested anything new, even if it benefitted their pack. The concept of an academy was foreign to them.

She had only ever heard of it in books, knowing it was a place of higher learning.

"Can I go to the academy?" she asked out of curiosity.
