Louis couldn't tell if Dio was pulling a prank on him or not but it was so out of character for him to say something like that that he was more inclined to believe it.

'Was that why he hadn't seen Tristan for a while now?' 

"Did you get in trouble?" He asked in a much calmer voice when Dio just stared at him with a straight face.

"I didn't."

"Did you get hurt?" He asked again, realizing that he had already asked all the wrong questions from the start, he might as well get it all out.

Dio had a small smile on his face, "I didn't."

"Are you angry I didn't tell you about it?" Louis asked once more, not sure he wanted an answer to this question.

Dio looked thoughtful, "You told me eventually so no, I'm not."

"Oh," Louis mumbled, it was far easier than he thought to talk to Dio, it was cathartic even.

"Get dressed or you're going to catch a cold." Dio parroted.
