Chapter 28: Interrogation Day 1.
" Have you heard the announcement ? " Sored asked Kail and Moroe who sat across the room all gazing at the papers on their hands , they had to deal with some works that needed the emergency .
" About what ? " Moroe asked impatiently looking at Sored , despite three of them he has always been the impatient one and who takes reckless decisions without thinking and his ideas are always nonsense .
" The interrogation day "
" Interrogation day !!!! " Moroe was caught in a surprise while Kail gave a mid sigh like relaxing his brain .
" Today , Gift is going to do interrogation concerning the slave escaping case " Sored explained tiredly and Moroe flinched on the news , Gift was going to interrogate Marla , he was serious about that and Moroe knew his name would pope in the interrogation, Gift was determined to prove something out of him , this wasn't going to be good .
" Yeah , he invited me too ...personally " Kail spoke looking at both Sored and Moroe .
" You knew too " Moroe asked
" I just did he invited me personally and Moroe you're into this you know " Kail insisted and Moroe cursed down his breath , he knew that Gift was somehow involved in this but he was going to throw all blames to him .
" He invited all the high rankings " Sored spoke placing his papers on the table and Moroe's face reflected the panic his chest has been harbouring .
" High rankings " Moroe's voice came as a whisper .
" Yes , the Alpha and his Luna , I and Kail and Mr. Roberto , one among the high council members " Sored elaborated and all the eyes went on to Moroe .
" Shit " Moroe cursed , his could he forget that Gift was not only a cousin to the Alpha but also among of the high ranking members in the pack council , the Pack council are like the sore leaders of this pack , they own this pack , with them anything can be done and nobody would go against , sometimes not even and Alpha , what has he gotten himself into .
" Moroe are you somehow involved in this " Kail asked him politely because with the explanation Gift gave him yesterday , Moroe is going to be cornered and all the shits can befall on him .
" No ...no man , ain't involved , out of all people I wouldn't be the one to let a slave go loose , you all know of it " he defended himself .
" But you made that slave's mother your fucking toy , didn't you ?" Kail asked and Sored scoffed .
" Out of all pack sluts you chose a slave for yourself " Sored raised his voice and Moroe pulsed his lips in a thin line , " Couldn't you take Angela , or anyone else " Sored added his voice carrying all the irritation he feels right away .
" Angela is too much of a slut , even Gift fucked her just a day ago " Moroe spoke being annoyed with the mentioning of Angela as he stood and paced around the room .
" How did you know that , Gift fucked her too , he's way too decent " Sored spoke and Moroe gave out a sly laugh, " Decent my dick , he fucked her and I knew so when I confronted him back in his office "
" Confronted him !!!! "' both Kail and Sored gasped as surprise took them , Moroe confronted Gift , more over recklessly even an Alpha himself confronts him with a high calculative method and he walked right inn his office and confronted him like that , he's so stupid and that was his death call .
" You confronted him about what ?" Sored decided to ask , " Well ....well I suspect him in this slave escaping case , I believe he helped her " Moroe voiced his thoughts and Kail's face frowned , despite being stupid they all loved him .
" Well that was your deadly mistake " Kail gritted his teeth as his fists tightened making his knuckles white , " And now he'll try heaven and hell to prove you're involved " Sored added and Moroe gave out a thin sweat , how could a small thing like this become hiss down fall ..
" So how are you gonna help me with this " Moroe asked them his face being the pitiful ever in this world , guilt and fear crossed on it and none was to be hidden .
" Let's just see how the interrogation goes " Kail spoke leaning back to the sofa .
" And watch my downfall , are you serious " Moroe shouted when two death glare came his way and he shut up trying to control his raging breath.
" We need a loophole for your escape and you have none " Sored spoke gazing at him intently and Moroe nodded knowing it was damn true , he has to find a mistake in Gift's interrogation for his escape and not the other way around .
" When does the interrogation start ? " Kail asked and Sored gazed at the wall as his eyes read what time it was , " After 30 minutes " he replied shortly and Kail stood then composed himself well .
" There is something I need to attend to but I will be there on time " , Sored nodded just as Moroe and Kail took his way toward the door passing past Moroe who stopped him abruptly .
" Wait " he said and Kail's steps halted before turning to face him again , Moroe walked closer go him and breathed heavily like trying to feel his lung with more surviving air .
" You smell different , are you mated ?" he asked and for a second Kail's inside tightened and his body was squeezed into a wall of anxious and nervousness as he stiffened a little bit but hide it within him .
" You confused already , get your mind straight " Kail spoke with a small laugh to ease the air of doubt In the room .
" He's loosing his senses already , that's too early , you need them to sense if Gift is planning something behind your back " Sored added a joke and laugh erupted in the room as Moroe lowered his head in thoughts .
Kail patteedd his shoulders , " Worry out everything is going to be okay after all the Alpha loves you " he spoke before waving his hand to Sored and walked out .
" Don't hide it from us when you find her " Sored shouted another joke and no reply came , Kail was already gone .
" Seriously he smelled so different today " Moroe spoke as he walked back to the seat .
" He might have changed his cologne " Sored defended as he went back to his paper , while Moroe leaned back to the sofa closing his eyes .
" Well his new cologne is annoying , the freaking pumpkins " , Sored let a small laugh out his lips .
