Chapter 58: Meeting Lina Again

DIANA CLIMBED DOWN from the brick rooftop. Her senses were on high alert as her back was against the wall while her claws secured him from falling. With the heightened senses of the werewolves, she held her breath while willing the air around her to stir, erasing the woodland scent she was sporting.

Two arm's lengths more. She needed to climb down two arms length more so she could land herself on the terrace of Lina's room.

Lina was Shananel's adopted daughter. Just to shut up Diana's grandparents when they were still alive, Shananel adopted a little girl as a compensation for not taking any man for herself. This child was left in the Crescent Pack's old pack house when Shananel left to be an elder of the Werewolf Committee.

In her two lives, Lina showed Diana how she knew every nook and cranny of the Crescent Pack – this meant she also knew about the Moon's Tears.
