Chapter 33: First Kiss

Elena POV:

"But I still gotta punish you… for the way you made me worry," he said, his voice dropping to a low, dangerous tone. His eyes darkened, that familiar intensity creeping back, and I felt a shiver run down my spine.

I hated myself for the way my cheeks flushed, remembering the last time he'd "punished" me. My body betrayed me, heating up at just the memory of his hands on me, his mouth on my neck, the way he'd teased me to the edge and back like he owned me.

"I-I think I've been through enough punishment, don't you?" I stammered, trying to sound defiant, though my voice came out much weaker than I'd intended. I could still feel the ache from the crash, the soreness reminding me that I was in no condition to be his plaything.
