Chapter 63: Get a trial

Hearing him saying that really made me feel important. should i become selfish?

i kept quiet and stared at the ceiling. my body suddenly started feeling cold... it was actually natural. sometimes i used to feel like my body was on fire, sometimes i felt like i'm sleeping on an ice cube.

he got down the bed and took off his shoulder cape, followed by a tailcoat. finally he unbuttoned his shirt and climbed back on the bed.

"you will not feel cold..."

he crawled into my blanket and embraced me in his arms.

my face rested on his warm chest... my body no longer felt the chilling sensation. his heart was pounding unstoppable... was he nervous about something?

i felt a little embarrassed because i had nothing favourable. my body was all bones now but he still embraced me like i was the same as before.

'why does he love me so much?'

i closed my eyes, although i wasn't really sleepy.
