CHAPTER 8

It was for the first time in she was bit scared of going without the back up and in disguise but the thing that held her confidence was her adoration towards her land. It was to be her first assignment towards the kingdom. But Alora was concerned about something else. She don't want to risk her and kingdom's future, so she took precise measures to have a strong escape way. She flew away at the dawn and was able to the sun rise and shine in beautiful colors. Flying in the air under the holy sun, she admired how big and enchanting the outer world was. Everything colorful with mesmerizing life.

After a good while the enchanting sun shone too bright making them realize how long they've been flying. Pegasus started to tremble and soon they started to fall on the water surface. As they both were about to enter the water body, Alora's pendant created a icy surface for them to land on. They duo landed on it and Alora wondered how this ice berg came under them. "How did it happen?"

"It's your pendant, princess..." the pegasus told her but out of blue it fell unconscious on the surface. "Peaches! Oh I'm so sorry. Are you hurt?" Alora was more concerned about her pegasus than herself. "I'm fine just tired. You're worn out too. Let's take rest here." Alora nodded and built a cold water sheet on there head so that no one will ever be able to notice them and it'll protect from vicious Sun. Alora treated pegasus with her healing power and rested for a while. The enchanted sun was about to drown in horizon when both of them woke up saw a dark suspicious watercraft floating speedily in the ocean. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" duo looked at each other. "This can be dangerous!"

"Of course we're on a dangerous mission."

"Then let's go. The moon goddess will bless us. Let's camouflage!" Alora and her pegasus followed closely to the vehicle. "Alora, we should climb up. We can get some more information." Alora nodded and both climbed on the ship. "In highness of Torreniel kingdom" Alora found that the watercraft was of Torreniel kingdom and it was royal ship sailing back from a long journey. There were many sailors and few royal men and a big cube of don't know what. "Peaches, wait here I'll go inside and find more clues." Alora headed to step inside. "princess be careful!" on tip toe Alora headed inside accommodation room to search in. There were many rooms, navigating engines, store room situated inside the accommodation building and it consist of three floors and two floors from deck. Besides pegasus found a wooden box on the to hide in and kept an eye for any danger.

Alora's heart was beating faster than ever. But still, containing it she searched in dept. At the end of the floor Alora found a door which was unusually large and different from others, so she decided to sneak in that door. The large door turn out to be a cabinet of officers and many documents were lying in the shelves. She started her search mission, but found nothing much. Suddenly her gaze landed on a weird locker. It was a small box type safe situated under the table in darkness, as if they wanted no one to find it. Alora broke off the safe and found few paper scrolls, but suddenly loud alarmed ringed vigorously. In the sudden hurry she gathered the scrolls and jumped out of the window. As soon she jumped the officers entered and fail to find the burglar. "Who was it? Go find or else we're no more alive. GO!" the head scold the officers. "Peaches? Where are you?" Alora searched for her pegasus but she guessed it must've hide from all the men on ship. "Princess?"

"Peaches!" pegasus was in air already and called her name to hop on. "We should leave, now!"

"We found them!" the officers followed Alora and found both of them. They fired the arrows on pegasus and unfortunately one arrow hit pegasus on its leg. "Ahhh!"

"Peaches! No!" on sudden rage Alora's powers burst out. A large ocean wave appeared infront of the ship and before it hits everyone duo flewed away in air and disappeared. The ocean wave destroyed the ship and drowned everything in itself.

"Ahhh! Hurts!" pegasus cried in pain. "it'll be alright. Trust me." Alora tried to calm him down. "It hurts, princess, Arghhh!"

"Look at me, peaches." she touched Pegasus' wound and with her healing power she healed the wound. "See your fine!" Alora smiled heartly. "Thank you Princess!" the pegasus felt releived. "You're welcome."

Next day at the dawn Alora returned to palace and headed straight for the King with all the evidences she collected. "Your highness!" she bowed with respect. "Alora, you returned." the King anticipated her appearance since the moment she left. He wasn't at ease even for a moment but still contained it as for anyone not to notice it. "My brave daughter!" the father-daughter duo shared a warm, deep hug. "Father, I've gathered all the evidences for you and they seemed too collateral." Alora thrilled the King while elaborating her experience that that made the King to pop his eyes. "Your were lucky! But still I'm proud of you." the King showed his gratitude. "Hey sister!" Princess Eva was crossing by when she saw duo chartering about something. "Eva..." the duo cried in unison. "Sister where you've been? Look at you!"

"Nowhere, just out for an adventure." Alora hesitated but succeed to force a smile on her face. "You must be tired. Go and rest. We'll talk about it later. Hmm," Alora nodded and smiled at Eva.

"Magician Xacka!" the King ran towards the Magician's wing. "Someone's got her hint!" hearing this Magicain stood in disbelief. "How's that possible? We left no clue."

"Even I know we left no clues but, what about these evidences? I don't think these are lies." the King showed him the scrolls and the Magician's eyes widened. "We should do something."

Knock, knock. The person in the room turned and watched his assistant to walk in. "Your Highness, Prince Ethan. We've got a bad news for you." the assistant looked down at floor. "Speak." the prince ordered coldly. "Our royal ship had sunk into the ocean. A big wave destroyed everything with it. But fortunately we have an only survivor who is traumatized right now. We can get information from him." the assistant explained everything. "Do whatever you need. Just don't disappoint me." the assistant stood to leave. "Uh, tell me something, do you think someone is trying to get in our way?" the prince raised his eyebrows. "We'll let you know if we had anything." the assistant hurried to leave the room. "It seems like we've to be more cautious." the assistant blabbered to himself.
