Chapter 62: Only Sunshine In Her World

She must be crazy to feel that way. David doesn't deserve pity. He decided to choose this on his own. Shaking off her head she leans closer to Maverick and gives a small peck on his cheek, that produces a big smile on his face. 

Suddenly feeling conscious in Maverick's office room she tried to get up off of his lap but he held her firmly. "Someone might come. We should be careful." She utters, looking at the front door of his office. 

"Nobody can dare to barge in my office room without a warning." He raises his eyebrows, assertively. 

The door of the office room knocks and Katherine abruptly stands up from his lap, rushing to a corner before someone walks inside. Maverick gives her a disbelieving look while he shook his head and sat straight on his seat. 

"Come in," He calls, and inside walks in David with a bunch of files.
