Chapter 304: Around the Eagle City

No one knew who started it, but after the red smoke on the northern horizon settled, all the people of Eagle City, especially the Adventurers and the Guards became agitated. A sullen energy surrounded their body as they busied themselves preparing for the incoming danger.

As if it was just a joke, the relaxed atmosphere they were feeling earlier was swept away along with the explosion of the red smoke. The same atmosphere was scattered throughout the city, but there were bound to be others who will have different thoughts and plans. 

In a spacious room adorned with expensive ornaments, a man was sitting on a reclining chair with a relaxed expression. He looked through the window and saw the red smoke after hearing the explosion. A satisfied smile was engraved on his face. The worry that had plagued him this past week was washed away in an instant after seeing the red smoke that was the signal of the start of the Beast Tide.
