"What do we do?" Ara asked, and Ryuu sighed.
"Nothing. You and I are cannot do anything. Only the people in the Cedar Palace who are not us can at least do something but covertly," Ryuu answered.
It was upsetting. Since Ara and Ryuu were both Returners to Ancestry with their memories and powers intact, they're no longer eligible to meddle in the matters of mortals in an obvious way unless their believers called out to them for help. The power of prayer was how people called it.
"Don't worry, Young Master, we will take care of everything we can, as long as it's within our ability," Fuji said, confusing Ara.
"Even without us, your powers can reach the whole Earth. What's not within your ability?"
"My love, did you forget the other worlds?" Ryuu reminded her and Ara became quiet.
