Despite being underground, the shop felt peaceful, away from the noisy world above.

The floor creaked slightly as Asaka walked, adding to the feeling that she was exploring a place frozen in time.

"It's been too long, Marissa," she said fondly, introducing Asaka to her old acquaintance. “This is Marissa Caldwell, my old maid.”

“Nice to meet you, ma’am. My name is Ash.”
