Chapter 67: Shallow Woman

"What do you think of your escort, Marcus?"

Cherry was asking Aila as if she was trying to figure out if Aila likes Marcus.

"Hmm, okay, I guess… I mean I don't really know him. Why do you ask?"

Aila plans on trapping cherry with her own words. Without a hint, Marcus turns around and smiled as he rakes his hand through his hair. He was looking at his own reflection in the mirror, but Aila felt like he was looking through at her.

"Oh God, he's so hot!"

Cherry exclaimed, she covered her mouth as soon as she uttered those words. Aila cackled at Cherry and mildly confronted her.

"Girl, it is obvious that you have the hots for him, why are you asking me what I thought of him."

Cherry felt embarrassed, lowered her head, and talked in a low voice.

"I'm sorry; it's just that you are every girl's competition."

Aila almost choked on Cherry's words, she can't believe her ears.
