I hated morning sunlight, specifically the "mornings". But every time I ended with waking up. My mom almost each time struggled to get me out of the bed. It began since I was 8. Oh! I forgot to mention today's my birthday, I was turning 17.
"Today is no 'school day'." I declared it myself. Actually this is silly, I mean I never liked birthdays. I just wanted to skip the class & sleep all day. I never spend my birthdays with friends,nor invite them. There's no reason to have them, already tired to see them everyday. Enjoying alone that was the plan. But it ruined this time i guess.
My beloved mother invited her some friends on this day. I couldn't talk over my mother, I wasn't rude & that worst. Though she asked my opinion if It's okay. I said, " fine".
Speaking of which, I live with my mother. Uhhh, my father is not alive anymore for me. He abandoned us when I was 6 years old & my mother was carrying a baby which resulted in miscarriage. He just vanished in the air..All these years passed, he never tried to reach us or anything you know. My mother alone by all herself brought me up. Since then if you ask me, who I hate the most, It's him. Only him.
Anyways,
My mom was screaming like crazy out of her happiness, she took a day off too. Screaming,as if she became billionaire overnight or something.
"Hell!" I reacted.
"Oi.....today's your birthday, don't stop me" Mom shouted rolling her eyes.
"Sure Mom, Hopefully aunt keira would be here," I replied. Aunt Keira is my mother's bestie. She's the only person I like among my mom's peer.
All the guests arrived, mom cooked amazing foods as usual. Her cooking skill is 10/10 & i am not overpraising. I was eagerly waiting for aunt keira to show up. She called saying she would be late. I was sad as I had none to converse. They all are aged at least above 40. I really didn't like to talk to them except aunt keira, She's like my second mom. Anyways I watched tv,ate lunch,played some video games.boring as usaul. I was happy watching my mom laughing with friends. This is beyond a gift.
Finally aunt keira came after the lunch time. She showed up with a young girl. I have never seen her before.
"New to gang,huh?!'' Mom chuckled.
