“Geez. I don’t have the time to squash every little bug, Joke.”
The haughty reply made it clear that the dragoness did not kill anyone. At that, Joke could finally let out a sigh of relief before pulling up an information window to check the result of their work moments before. What made him happier than the considerable increase in Snowbelle’s experience gauge were the many item cards that appeared in his inventory window.
“This time we got a part of the King of Ape’s card too,” Joke said as he tapped on it to read the information. “Now we have three of them. One more and we’ll be able to exchange them for a card.”
“Why would you get a weak card like that to clutter up your deck, Joker?”
Snowbelle turned her neck to look at her master with a puzzled look. Joke sighed at her question.
“And what do you think I use to buy the cards I need? You don’t really think I can exchange leaves for money, right? Right now, what we need the most next to your experience points is money.”
