“Your brother’s that good?” Dani’s eyes narrowed.

“Even a beast would call him big bro.”

“Oh… Then that’s true since a beast is really calling him brother.”

He jokingly shot back, then stared at the expressionless face with an implication that “You are a beast”. Joke could only give him a dry smile that seemed to have become his signature facial expression already. After that, the two enthusiastically looked around again.

“Is he living in a place like this alone?”

“Why are you asking me?” Dani replied. “But judging from his personality, he’s probably not living with his family. If his parents know he’s doing such a dangerous job like this, they won’t be too pleased with him.”

“That might be true.”

Joke thought back to his own father. If he worked the same job as White Wolf and was discovered by his father, he would surely be killed.

“But this place somehow feels oppressive,” Joke said as his eyes wandered.

“What do you mean?” Dani asked.
