“What does Mommy Dearest want us to do here?”
Dia was the first to pose the question. She looked around and saw that almost everyone was there. The only person missing was the host, Lia, who had yet to come online.
“How would I know? She didn’t say anything,” said Kokoro with a sigh, “Jack? You got any clue?”
“No.”
The taciturn man slightly shook his head.
At the same time, Ace let out a big yawn while putting both hands behind his neck. His complexion had returned to the same sunniness. It seemed that he had reflected on many things after the terrible experience. A full night’s rest had helped him feel a lot better, so now he was being his same old self.
“Whatever. It’ll be great if she makes it quick, though. There’s an old man waiting outside for his turn to yell at me.”
Dia giggled at Ace’s words. She could guess who that “old man” was.
“Oh my. Has your daddy come to pick you up already, Ace? Let’s hope he won’t spank you this time?”
