Chapter 449: Fire on Fire Part II

“Drink. It’s on me,” he spoke calmly before raising his own glass to drink.

Judging from the fluffy foam, the drinks must be beer. The glasses in front of Joke and Snowbelle were the same as well.

“Uh…I don’t drink.”

“Huh?” Ace drawled. “Hey…Refusing a beer is like revealing yourself as a traitor.”

His retort made it clear that Joke would have to drink something he had been avoiding for over two decades now. When he glanced at Belle, he saw that she had downed the beer and made a loud refreshed noise. So loud that some people in the bar turned to look at her.

“The beer here is pretty good!” she cheerfully exclaimed.

Joke nearly blurted out saying “You drunkard dragon” but was stopped by the eyes of others at the same table. They were all looking at him and exerting subtle pressure. Eventually, he had to hold his breath and drink the beer all in one go. He didn’t know what kind of face he made at that unfamiliar taste, but he was sure it was not pretty!
