All eyes turned to Joke at once. They could imagine how badly the summoners from Phoenix Miami were beaten by this guy while he was trying out his new toys.

“Anyway, I’m glad we’re in a hotel like this,” Merlin said. “I’m sure we can fully practice during the training period since it has every equipment we need and very high privacy on top of that…Madame Fon has probably crammed a bunch of training programs into our schedules.”

“You sure can talk huh? Madame had the worst reaction out of everyone when we knew we’d be facing Germany in the first round.”

Shaggy added, making others laugh. On the other hand, Merlin let out a big sigh.

“That’s a given, really. We’ll just give it our all during the training, as usual. She’ll be less worried when she sees how much we’ve improved from before. Also, I think Joker’s current deck is good enough to give her a big surprise…right?”
