Chapter 3: ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD

["It seems all my powers I've accumulated has dissappeared except for the dark powers, it seems the God's divinity is truly mysterious. Anyways I must get stronger than before...This time i didn't get get dragged away by some old geezer. Everything is different from what I've experienced before because of the entire timeline being altered. Hmm...forget about it, anyways I cannot enter dungeons because I don't have a license, I better go to an academy and get a license as soon as possible. Should I attend the Hero Academy or Hunter Academy?... I think I should go to hunters Academy this time to keep a low profile."]
Morin Noarr, at the age of 18 decided to join the hunters academy because he thought it wasn't a good idea to be in the cities overseen by the gods for the time being. Since he possess a God's divinity, the gods will definitely get suspicious on Morin so he thought it was safe to not be under those gods range and left to western region, Tower City.
Tower City, as it's name implies it is built around the Heavenly Tower. Unlike the Eastern Asia and Central Europe regions ruled Gods, the Tower City had no ruler and was managed by the Hunters Association as the Western Region was abandoned by Gods after it became a land of monsters. The Hunters had to fend off monsters frequently in and out of the tower to ensure their survival in the city. Tower city is also mostly known as a Merchant City due to the abundant resources and artifacts gained through the tower's sources. Both heroes and hunters participate in the tower city's auctions to get their hands on powerful equipments because of the modern hot weapons becoming useless against rampaging monsters.
Morin without any further ado used all his savings money and got himself a portal ticket to the Western regions. A moment before leaving Morin wrote a letter and left it at his house with its contents being unknown...
"Wow...no matter how many times I see this, tower city it's always a sight to see..."
Morin arrived at the Western regions safely without any trouble and directly head out to the Hunters Academy.
"C-cat ears and fox tails... There seems to be many hybrids in the Western regions compared to East. This academy is totally different from what I've imagined"
The entire world changed drastically over the years, Humans and some Monster species began to live in peace after the interference of gods and the common term 'monsters' was no longer used but instead they were identified uniquely according to their race and nature. Later half-bloods came into existence after the interaction between Humans and other species called Hybrids. The half-bloods are either strong or weak compared to an ordinary human.
At last after many tiresome procedures, Morin entered the hunters academy. The Hunters Academy is affiliated with 9 other academies. Morin must stay in the main Hunters academy until he's chosen in one the 9 affiliated academies. The next day, Morin and all the new students who was staying at the main academy was asked to come by the Academy's Awakening Hall. An old man in a wizard's attire began his speech as soon as everyone walked in...
"Good Morning! It seems there are a lot more Hunter candidates this time...Hahaha...the more the better. You might be wondering why you've gathered here but fret not young ones. As you can see there's a huge primordial magic crystal on the stage. All you must do is just touch the crystal for a moment so that we can identify the element you've the most affinity with and to select a class according to your results. Without further ado let's begin... "
After the Oldman's sloppy speech, each student walked towards the crystal. The first person to touch the crystal was a boy, the translucent crystal changed to Crimson and the boy's hand was on fire but it didn't hurt him. Everyone was quite shocked except for the people besides the old man.
"Hahaha... Pyro element. A strong affinity with that, It seems you are a fierce young man. As a future Pyromancer you'll be attending the Phoenix Academy."
"Thank you very much" the boy replied.
The same way many interacted with crystal and got chosen by one of the 9 academies. Almost everyone was chosen by an affiliated academy despite their affinity was either low or high due to the Hunters existence been scarce including their mortality. However Morin who was already aware about his element and affinity was quite annoyed at this moment because it took some time...At last it was his moment to shine and he walked in...
*touch*
The entire hall became dark and the lights were overtaken by the manifestation of darkness. Everyone was speechless and some even used their skills as they sensed that Morin's element was dangerous. All the instructors felt as they are facing a monster, but they knew one thing about Morin at that time and it was the fact he was an extremely insane human being.
"An element represents a persons most common emotion. For an example a pyromancer is almost always filled with rage, a hydromancer is calm no matter the situation and so on. However a Necromancer is quite rare even among the elemental mancers and is someone who has been on the verge of death. So what do you guys think that he have gone through to achieve that kind of aura around him? " said the old man to the rest of the instructors.
A moment later the hall was back to normal and Morin left to his seat as nothing happened.
[" D-Damnnn... What happened? Why did my powers go berserk after touching that stupid piece of rock? Is it because of the divinity I possess that enhanced my dark powers to high. A-Argh...in my previous school life before the Regression I only had low affinity but now it's totally different. My low-profile school life is now over. Those geezers are already staring at me like I'm some kind of rare delicacy... M-mann...this is embarrassing...;;"]
A cold war triggered between the instructors of the 9 academies to recruit Morin...
