Upon seeing Zhouzhou, Xi Mo was startled and about to make a move, but then he saw Zhouzhou quickly wink at him.
The little girl was short, and the two men behind her didn't notice the gesture at all.
Seeing that she wasn't really under control, Xi Mo finally breathed a sigh of relief, and the hand he had just raised quietly dropped.
He stared at the two men and coldly demanded, "What do you want? Let us go, now!"
"Stop shouting," one of the men replied impatiently, "Don't worry, we'll send you on your way soon enough."
With that, they turned and left.
Hearing this, Xi Mo's heart sank. No wonder they had been coming and going so frequently these past few days--something was definitely going on.
But before he could think too much, his gaze landed on Zhouzhou, and he hurriedly asked, "What are you doing here?"
His teammates, who also knew Zhouzhou, had been holding their composure, but now, seeing the men leave, they couldn't hold it in any longer.
