Chapter 26: SORRY NOT A CHAPTER
A word of clarification. I know it may not be clear yet, so I'll keep it simple: the MC is young, selfish and arrogant - flaws that limit his intelligence.
He's going to make mistakes, and that's normal, because I'm writing about a person - a person who learns from his mistakes to improve - nobody can be perfect, and writing about a perfect person honestly doesn't interest me.
Aegon doesn't like his parents, he doesn't hate them, but he doesn't love them either.
The reason he can sound angry when he talks about the circumstances of his birth is that, under normal circumstances, he would have been born as a prince and, if the marriage had been annulled, he almost certainly could have become heir to the Iron Throne as soon as he was born if Rhaegar had won.
He sees things from HIS point of view, he doesn't read history, he just sees what happened to him and what he could have been had Robert's rebellion not taken place.
