*Author note*
Im not dead yet! Or I could be, and the death just spat me out from her realm out of spite...
And this counts on this fic too, even though my unannounced and totally unplanned vacation from writing after my eye surgery, I totally plan to continue in this story as every day I get new ideas, the problem is that sometimes it's hard to think of a way how these ideas should be implemented into the story without making it even more unbelievable xD
Still, now that I said my piece enjoy my after vacation work that a totally shouldn't be bad from my time of not writing...
Maybe...
(PS: I didn't read any comment or was even on webnovel in my absence, so I expect a lot of comments, somehow I feel a little apprehensiveness at the reading of so many comments in one go, so both for you and myself I hope there isn't anything too bad xD)
(PPS: Who Im kidding, of course, there would be a lot of toxicity xD)
------------------
Headmaster Dumbledore looked at the sight before him with a bemusedly masked smile as he once again cursed entity and himself for such a situation.
But his hidden smile turned into a frown as he saw the face of Harriet's guardian, it took a lot of promises and threats to stop captain Eredith from killing the poor boy that in all of this innocently, still, it didn't help that the Ronald Weasly had motor mouth without filter and too quick for his brain to stop it before he uttered other words that just made his chance on survival reduce.
Either by captain's hand or the now bound Harriet Potter...
Or was it Harriet Schnee now?
Still, to think that such an innocently and sometimes mischievously smiling girl could look like a raging beast was a surprise to many who saw her, and the sole reason Albus didn't stupify her were the three white armored men that were so close to drawing their strange weapons at any sight of danger in this stressful situation.
"So, can some please tell me why two boys were sent to madam Pomfrey after what was unneeded physical violence?"
"Of course, just after you tell us why the princess is said to by betrothed to someone without hers, or our knowledge or permission."
"That, that is a more complicated matter, all I can say is that this is normal wizard tradition, especially between such old families as Potter's or Weasleys."
Dumbledore said to Eredith, who the entire time just looked too calm.
A similar calmness Albus saw in soldiers in world war two who were sure that they die, just not without taking their enemies with them into their graves, and that made Albus nervous even more...
"I see... Then I wish to see any wizard law and especially the marriage contract, and you would give it to us right headmaster?"
Eredith said with narrow eyes as Harriet, who was now calmly sitting in her chair but still with tape on her mouth look at both men with intense eyes.
"Yes, of course, alas I have some other things to do and as such I will let castle servants deliver both of things to you, with any additional information you would need."
"Thank you, headmaster, until later then."
Eredith said and nodded at Sentinels who lifted the chair on what Harriet sat and retreated from headmaster chambers calmly.
Albus waited until the doors closed to sigh and massage his tired face.
"What should I do, my friend? The moment they see the contract would by the moment they know that it was me who signed it..."
Albus said as he looked at the phoenix who looked at him with a sorrowful face and chirped.
"Yes, yes... I know, there isn't a way to hide, and I don't even know if I wish to hide my role in this play..."
"Chirp..."
"Yes, you are right like always, just truth can free us..."
"Chirp chirp..."
"Yes, you don't need to tell me that old friend, I know it was my hand that played the role, alas im just a mere mummer without knowing the puppeteer."
"Chirpppp..."
Albus sighed as he looked at the now pulled-out marriage contract on whose his signature was written...
"In the end... All of us are just mummers in someone's hand strings play..."
Albus sadly said as he closed his eyes as listened to Fawkes chirping song.
-------------
"Wh-what sh-should I do?..."
"Princess..."
Harriet cried now that she was in her chambers away from prying eyes and in the presence of men she knew she could trust.
"T-Tell me! W-would big bro... Wo-would Aegis see t-this as be-betray...!"
Harriet couldn't continue as she hiccuped in the middle of the forbidden word.
"Princess, we all know that isn't truth, King loves you and wouldn't doubt your innocence in this... that said, even you know it, don't let that insecurity your feelings cloud your mind."
Eredith said as he slowly patted Harriet's back.
"I-I... N-no you are r-right... Big bro..."
Harriet hiccuped with a tearful face and Eredith released a sigh as he saw the worst part slowly end, in public Harriet Schnee is a tomboyish girl with but when something hard happens, it isn't a surprise to see her cry in her room, at least in Schnee mansion she had sisters and King to make her feel better, there?
There it has fallen to Sentinels who were truly unprepared for the teenage girl's turbulent feelings...
"And princess, please do not forget that this isn't a standard situation, you were betrothed against your will, im sure if this gets to the king's ear's it would..."
Eredith didn't continue as he fought down the feeling of trepidation and sudden spike of fear that ran through his body at the mere idea of Aegis Schnee knowing that his sister, and a lover were to be taken away...
Now death didn't sound soo bad in Sentinel's head, something even the two Sentinels by the doors silently agreed upon.
"S-so?"
"So... So there should be a way... No, a way's to get you from such precedent, don't worry princess, im sure we will find a way to break this contract."
And in the worst case, there is still a chance that killing the boy in question would terminate the contract, just food for thoughts, and something Eredith must read on just to be sure would work before he acts.
"I-I see... Thank you, can you please let me be alone for a while?"
"But of course, still one of Sentinel's will be in your room princess, we can't take chances."
Eredith said and nodded at the Sentinel's, who nodded back, and one of them left the room to guard outside while the other stood by the doors from inside.
"Rest well, princess."
Eredith said and smiled as the black-haired and green-eyed girl tiredly nodded back in a clear show of emotional exhaustion.
"Im going for a walk."
"Acknowledged."
Eredith nodded at the Sentinel, who stood like a statue and walked out of the room.
There was a lot of reading waiting before him to just go and enjoy a night of sleep, and he should get into contact with the little green monsters these people call goblins...
Just a mere thought of them made Eredith wish to punch them...
Alas, that was just his dislike for bureaucracy speaking as he could see how efficient these little twerps were in it...

"Soo interesting..."
Said a girl in a white cloak and flowery white hair as she watched the happenings inside of the castle unfold...
"Soo fascinating... Once again, the world of dust meets the world of wonder."
