JAMIE HAD WORKED WITH law enforcement plenty of times, but never alongside them. Aegis Group always did what they could to work within the bounds of the law, which meant there were many occasions when they'd turned things over to the proper authority.

Today wasn't like that.

The men at Jamie's back were SWAT teams accustomed to working with the FBI, and today they were taking orders from him. At least the rear entry team was. Evan had another team that would go through the front. Logan, Harper and Tucker were split between two other sites, all waiting to act at the same moment.

It was baffling how fast this had come together.

"Team Two, you in position?" Evan asked via the headset.

Jamie never took his eyes off the back of the old strip mall that housed the phone repair store Abner used as a front. "Team Two, we are in position."
