"I guess, more than anything, I wish whoever he was working for would hire me, too. But, I'm labeled a liability." Candi sighed and glanced at the waitress emerging from the back of the building with a tray of food.

Her gut said Wesley was into something that wasn't cars. Given that she'd been right about Nadine, Candi had even more resolve about her brother. The truth would come out eventually. She just knew it. Maybe when she was vindicated, she'd be more likely to get her own gig. She doubted the CIA would hire her back regardless that she'd been right. There were other options, though. Good ones.
The waitress arrived with their food, and Q handed her meal over. It was nice that he still remembered something as insignificant as how she liked her burger. He hadn't just forgotten her until it was convenient. Though for all she knew, he'd taken notes and reviewed them.
