Chapter 68: Almost Getting the Rewards
Cao Tai POV
While Violet was doing her best to not pick me up and carry my home I explained my predicament with those bother some Entians, in which she pretty much swears on her life that she'll kill them all for me, not just three.
Until I told her that I needed to kill them, then she got really quiet really fast.
When I continued my proposition of telling her that I'll fight them and if they got out of hand then she may step in, but only after I clearly tell her to do so. Of course she was extremely opposed to this and said that instead she should beat up the Entians until they're half dead and then I do the finishing blow.
But then it was my turn to firmly disagree, since in my opinion, that seemed to be pretty contradictory to what the system wants me to do, I mean I know the system would consider this to be a loophole and let it pass, but I feel like there is a good reason why the System tasks me with killing these tough monsters. Whether that means that I'll have to face something of that difficulty when I increase my Cultivation Rank, or something else, I really I don't know.
So, I simply do what any guy would do... probably?
I grab her hand like I was going to steal it and squeeze it and look into her eyes, and say, "I'll be fine, I promise," Just like all the dudes say before they're going to killed by this evil monster... oh wait...
Anyways, Checkmate! There's no way she can say 'No,' now! My soul would be crushed if she did something mean like that! [I guess CT kinda acts like a Minor when he needs to...]
Her face becomes extremely red, I'm assuming that she's flustered, I mean who wouldn't be after my magnificent performance? I would be as well! "Fine, but I'll be standing right next to you making sure that no one interrupts you, not even Sasha or Lantla, OK?" She offers, looking like she's in another world at the moment.
"Sure... Hey Violet!!! Are you here!?" I wave my arms in front of her face, only barely getting my hands in front of her face.
Her mind and soul returns to her body, and if it was anyone else than him she would've made him pay for making her lose her day dream.
"Yes, Master? Did you say something?" She asks, crouching down to my height.
"Well you just agreed that you weren't going to interrupt my fight against the next two Entians I face. I just wanted to remind you since you most likely killed the packs of a certain Entian who's going to come for revenge," I say, hearing a roar of pure fury and bloodlust, a shiver of excitement rolls down my spine.
Now you may be wondering, why would I be excited? Well thats because even if the battle fares poorly, I have Violet here to mop the floor with it.

Entian POV
[Lets just pretend that we can understand Entian, OK?]
Who dares attack my part of the wood!?
Who dares KILL MY SERVANTS!!! They WILL PAY IN BLOOD!!!

Violet POV
"Master... the monster is coming... and it seems like you wont be able to beat it! Are you sure you don't want me to soften it up?" I ask, I know I was lying to Master, and thats an unforgivable crime, but its for his own safety, he should know I only want the best for him, I put that over my own happiness at times! Thats how much I give away to you, Master!
And still... you give me nothing in return... or almost nothing, I mean I guess you give me hugs and kisses, but...
"OK Violet... if you are so adamant about helping me defeat the Entian you may hit the Entian once before I'll fight it, OK?" Master says, looking a little tired at me for harassing him, oh well, I got what I needed, I'll put so much energy into my blow it'll be half dead by the time Master lays his precious hands on it.
"Oh, here it comes," He suddenly says, knocking two arrows into the bowstrings.
Yeah, I knew it was coming but I didn't think of him as concerning yet, and honestly, Master could probably personally take it on by himself, but that doesn't mean I'll give up my chance to strike the Entian first!
Before it even pops out into the open I leap into the woods to deal my blow, so that way Master isn't ashamed about the difference of power... he wouldn't look into my eyes if I displayed my power!

Cao Tai POV
As I expected, by the time the Entian tumbled out woods half dead, the only thing keeping him going was a kick from Violet.
I sigh and fire two red arrows and it disintegrates, what a waste of time... I'm not learning anything from this...
<You could practice fighting Entians in your Training Space if you wanted to, I don't know why you haven't realized that yet...>
Wait... I can! Thanks so much System!
