"I'm not as clueless as you might think, Wisdom." Liara uncrossed her arms. "I haven't been idle since you rejected my request, and I've learned a few things since…" 

Ah, so that was why she wasn't so shocked to hear about the existence of a bright elf death cult. I should have known. In her quest to find her dad, Liara must have learned something about his past. 

"I asked you for a reason why you wouldn't help me," she began, "but you tell me a story about why you hate ljósálfar." 

"I don't hate all bright elves," I corrected. "Just the murderous douchebags."
