The night I met Divah, I learned what it meant to dream. To see myself beyond who I was to who I could become and what I could achieve.
See, meeting my master, and seeing her brilliance while being nearly blinded by it, was how I didn't go insane on that terrible night. Because, when Divah pulled me out of the pile of dead and showed me the meaning of real strength, she stoked the flame of ambition inside of me and set me on a path toward greatness.
Still, it wasn't until I became her apprentice that I knew for certain that the path of the 'Arcane Warrior' had become my goal. From there, dreams of riches, honor, and fame—to become the best adventure in the realmsverse was a natural follow-up.
As I glanced down at the jeweled serpent ring inside of the black box atop its black pedestal within this dark room the All-Father had taken me to, I didn't realize that my goal—my dream—had been such a flimsy thing.
Ah, I was looking forward to this chapter, and giving Will a new direction as opposed to his usual way of fighting which had lost some of the strategizing that he'd had initially. Look forward to the growth!
