Synopsis
In the wake of losing the two people he cherished most, Kenji finds himself adrift in a world devoid of purpose. Each day, he contemplates surrendering to the abyss, believing that death might be a welcome escape from his grief. But everything changes when mysterious creatures come to the world and unleash chaos upon the world.
As he grapples with his desire for oblivion, Kenji discovers an unexpected will to survive. Drawing on the rigorous training instilled in him by his grandfather, he must confront these monstrous foes that threaten his very existence. In a battle for survival, Kenji faces a harrowing choice: adapt to the madness around him or succumb to the darkness he once longed for.

The character I relate to the most is torn between the path of darkness and the path of light. Their internal struggle is captivating because it mirrors the choices many of us face. Throughout the story, this character is not simply good or bad, but deeply conflicted, with moments of weakness and strength. They grapple with temptation, feeling the pull of darker desires, yet they yearn for redemption and a sense of purpose. What makes this character so relatable is their humanity. They make mistakes, fall into despair, and at times, take steps down the wrong path. But there’s always a flicker of hope within them, a desire to change, to be better. Their journey is one of self-discovery, questioning what it means to truly live a meaningful life. The tension between darkness and light in this character’s choices keeps me reflecting on my own decisions, and how easy it is to be swayed in either direction.
