Chapter 1: Cold, Rebirth, and Purpose
My name is Laika I was just walking home minding my own business and I saw some people in an alley I looked being a curious soul, not knowing my curiosity would be the death of me. They thought me a rival ganger stabbed, bound, and dumped me in the winter lake to drown. I'm not sad or angry. Only feeling disappointment that I went out alone, with my only solace being to close my eyes embrace the cold and hope my next life is more fortunate.
Then....
I wake up feeling unusual I know what I experienced was more than just a dream, but why do I still feel that cold icy feeling. Curiosity takes over me as I look around to see I'm in a shrine with a blue gem with a snowflake floating by the alter, feeling its for me I try to reach for it and realize what I am. How did I not notice it I'm not a human anymore I'm some sort of animal. "Calm down" I say to myself 'wait I can talk', I look at the gem recognizing the silver pattern around it I'm in Genshin Impact in Inazuma at that. I guess I'm a yokai of either a canine, lupine, or vulpine nature. I then recognize I'm on the corpse a woman with ears on a stone bench laying lifeless with a note in her pale hand I had no idea what's written on it as I don't understand the writing, but she seemed to die from blood loss. Confused I head a generically convenient plot device 'Ding!' oh Shogun it's a fucking system. *sigh* 'open system' I then read.

"Whelp guess that solves my language and form problems and gives me a long term goal, a plan, and an future ally" I mutter. I look up proudly declare "My name is Kukunochi Ahmya and I will survive no matter what." I design my clothes with the token I choose a Gi and Hakama with blue, black, and purple colors for them along with a Kaguya-Hime kimono that's black and purple with Flame patterns down the edges of the fabric. I change into my newly discovered human form put my clothes on and grab my vision.
