Chapter 89: Illusionary Nine-Tailed Fox

Chris waited patiently for the manipulator to show himself and after a time he did. He was surprised to see the manipulator. Luckily for Chris, the manipulator was not a candidate nor belonged to any humanoid race who might have entered through other portals.

Indeed, a secret realm might not have a single portal. There could be multiple portals and from observation, not many like that have been seen in all these years. There could be many hidden portals but the likelihood was different.

A portal needs energy to open and sustain. It doesn't come out of nothing. There's always something powering it, though no one has ever discovered what it was.

Chris feared that the one controlling the monsters might have entered through one of these hidden portals but he was safe on that front.

It was a monster that was behind this chaos and this monster surprised him. It was an Illusionary Nine-Tailed Fox.
