Chapter 124: Auction (2)

The auction went on for a while.

While everyone was bidding on items including the sisters, Chris's concentration was somewhere else.

He found the two guild masters in the common room. This is where someone who was not of the higher order but had enough wealth or power would sit.

They got the seats by bribing but that doesn't mean that they could get VIP seats. They had to sit in the open area, where the bidders were visible to everyone. He had seen them before, so it wasn't that difficult for Chris to spot them.

Those two acted as if they were against each other, just as they did everywhere. The other bidders understood that those two young men were rivals or enemies with how they acted.

"Hmm, seems you are still keeping your act. If not for the things that you did, I would be mesmerized by your acting", Chris muttered in annoyance.

The voice was not high but the girls understood that he had a history with those two.
