Chapter 82: The Creature’s Maw, I

"Sean?!" I called out his name with slight panic.

Had he been hit with that kunai earlier?

Was he poisoned or something?

"Oi, Sean, wake up!" 

"What happened, Elias?!" My comrades which had begun spectating me in the middle of the battle noticed that something was up.

I bent over Sean's body and began slapping his face right and left.

"Ouch, what?!" He woke up, trying to stop my slaps.

"Phew…" A breath of relief left my lungs, "Why the heck would you just fall asleep halfway through my fight?!" 

"Well, I knew you would take care of it properly without the need for my help."

"Sigh, that is correct, but don't be so careless next time, what if someone was still lurking around?"

"Yes, yes, I know that myself. Isn't it common sense?" 

"That's true."

I turned back to go to my tent and finally hit the lay for the night.
